A road transformation project that includes a space for pedestrians and bicycle infrastructure: from regional road to local street, from road infrastructure to public space design.
Within a complex, diffuse, fragmented urban landscape, the regional ER206 road plays a very important role in the overall territorial system. Recognising that this is not only a place for movements, but also important for local encounters is crucial to improve the quality of the space, reduce its air and sound pollution, and reduce mobility conflicts.
Urban Dynamics elaborated a strategic document to tranform the actual ER206 between the towns Vila Nova de Famalicão and Guimarães.
