EN: The Advanced Course in Street Design, delivered in a blended-learning (b-learning) format, has as its main objective the training of professionals who, drawing on expertise in architecture, urbanism and related fields, work within the street space, both in terms of design and programming, management and maintenance.

Within a framework of sustainable development aligned with the goals of the Roadmap to Carbon Neutrality, the course aims for participants to acquire key competences for the transformation of streets by questioning dominant models and processes and committing to original and emerging solutions. In particular, participants are expected to be able to:

• Identify the fundamental constraints affecting interventions in streets;

• Understand the main street typologies and their multiple variations;

• Recognise solutions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals;

• Design scenarios that support the revision of hierarchies associated with dominant functions;

• Develop design and intervention practices aligned with emerging themes in street-related action, using formal, material and procedural solutions derived from participatory and/or collaborative processes;

• Adopt representation methodologies (analogue or digital, two- or three-dimensional) that enable the anticipation of the future design of streets.

PT: O curso de Aprofundamento em Desenho de Ruas, lecionado em regime b-learning, tem como principal objetivo capacitar os profissionais que a partir do domínio da arquitetura, do urbanismo e áreas afins, atuam no espaço da rua, tanto ao nível da conceção como ao nível da programação, da gestão e da manutenção.

Num quadro de desenvolvimento sustentável comprometido com as metas Roteiro para a Neutralidade Carbónica, pretende-se que os formandos adquiram competências fundamentais à transformação da rua, questionando os modelos e processos dominantes e comprometendo-se com soluções originais e emergentes, nomeadamente pretende-se que sejam capazes de:

• Identificar condicionantes fundamentais a intervenção nas ruas; Conhecer as principais tipologias de ruas bem como as suas múltiplas derivações; Reconhecer soluções comprometidas com os Objetivos do Desenvolvimento Sustentável;

• Conceber cenários fundamentais à revisão das hierarquias associadas às funções dominantes;

• Desenvolver práticas de projeto e intervenção comprometidas com temas emergentes de intervenção e atuação nas ruas, utilizando soluções formais, materiais e processuais com origem em processos participados e/ou colaborativos;

• e adotar metodologias de representação (analógica ou digital, bidimensional ou tridimensional) que permitam antecipar o futuro desenho das ruas.
